Our children's librarian was restocking books and as she picked this one up she mentioned that it was new and was a very sweet little book. And IT IS! We've really enjoyed it. It's one of the library books that we'll read more than once.
My mother-in-love is here visiting and she always spends lots of time reading to our children. As soon as she finished reading this book she said she really wanted a copy of it. I "took a trip" to Amazon and she will have a copy at her house by the time she gets home. This is quite the world we live in, isn't it?! Let's not move so fast that we forget our manners! :)

Thanks for sharing this book, Renee. I am trying to find all my childrens' books from their childhood (I have too many books for the space I have bookshelves for) in order to ship them to Katie for her baby. I bought the baby's first book - a board book of The Runaway Bunny. This one looks like a keeper; will add to my ever-growing-expanding list!
